Epsom Downspicture album
Epsom and Walton Downs are regulated byAct of Parliament, and are
administered by Conservators. The racecourse on the Downs is used
for horseracing for a few weeks per year. The most famous horserace
in the world, the , is
held in June each year. Otherwise, the Downs are used for racehorse
training in the early mornings, and for recreation, including horseriding,
flying model aeroplanes and kites, cycling, and walking.
